Monika Bisht

Monika Bisht has been an ardent follower of the Yogic way of life. For her, Yoga is a way of life that encompasses a person both physically and mentally.
She is a registered yoga teacher and has completed her 500 hours teachers training from The SIvananda School of Yoga, Neyyar Dam and Madurai. She is also certified by the Yoga Certification Board Level 2,Ministry of Ayush, GOI as a Yoga Wellness Instructor.
She has done her M.A. in Yoga & Science of Living from Jain Vishwa Bharti Institute, Ladnun, Rajasthan.
Earlier she completed her course in Yoga Protocol from MDNIY, Delhi.

Poornima

A native of the enchanting Uttarkashi, emerges as a testament to the harmonious blend of mountainous passion and academic excellence. From her early years, the towering peaks of Uttarkashi served as both playground and inspiration, steering her towards the realms of hiking and trekking. These formative experiences, acquired in the lap of nature, laid the foundation for a life deeply intertwined with adventure.

Aman

With a deep reverence for the ancient art of yoga, Aman embarked on a journey to master this profound practice. He immersed himself in the teachings of the Sivananda tradition, known for its holistic approach to yoga and spirituality. Over the years, Aman dedicated himself to rigorous training and self-discovery, evolving into not just a yoga teacher, but a true yoga practitioner.

Somesh

Hailing from Haryana, has undertaken a remarkable and transformative journey from the world of basketball coaching to becoming a dedicated yoga practitioner. Armed with a background in physical education, he earned a Bachelor's degree and the prestigious NIS certification in basketball coaching. For six years, Sumesh passionately dedicated his time and energy to coaching basketball, fully immersing himself in the dynamic and competitive world of sports.

Sandeep Rawat

A spirited soul hailing from the enchanting terrains of Uttarkashi in the northern Himalayas, embodies an unwavering dedication towards his passions and endeavors. In 2015, he embarked on his mountaineering odyssey, undertaking the Basic Mountaineering Course at the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), where he honed his skills amidst the breathtaking Himalayan landscape.

Preetam Shahu

Has roots in Odisha but grew up in Uttarkashi, which he considers home. He studied Civil Engineering there and is a crucial part of our team. Preetam's dedication, friendly nature, and contagious smile are what make him essential to us. His commitment to work is strong, and his love for yogic retreats and trekking adds a unique touch to how our team operates.

Vikram Singh Panwar

A native of Uttarkashi, stands as a prominent figure in the realm of water sports, carving his path as the owner of Ganga Water Sports. Since the inception of his venture in 2017, he has been a driving force in offering thrilling water sports activities on the majestic Ganga River. Vikram's journey is marked by a profound dedication to his craft and a multifaceted skill set that encompasses various facets of adventure sports.

Uttarkashi is a small town in Uttarakhand, India, known for its natural beauty, temples, and ashrams. It is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is a popular destination for adventure activities like trekking and mountaineering. The town is also important pilgrimage site for Hindus.

How to reach – The rest of the country is well connected to Dehradun through Air and Rail. From Dehradun you can reach Uttarkashi by road. Helly Services from Dehradun also available

RETREAT INTENERARY

RETREAT SCHEDULE FOR HARSHIL VALLEY (5N/6D)
Day 1: Transfer from Dehradun. Welcome and evening meditation.
Day 2: Morning Yoga practice. Travel to Harshil Valley Evening talk and bonfire night.
Day 3: Early morning Gangotri temple visit. After darshan meditation practice Gartang Gali visit (Gartang Gali, one of the most thrilling and exciting treks in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. was opened to visitors and tourists in 2021 after 59 years. Located in the picturesque Nelong Valley near the Indo-China border, the 150-year old Gartang Gali is a 136-m-long wood-lined stairway that is said to have been built by Peshawari Pathans, who created an architectural masterpiece by cutting the granite of a vertical rock face. This route was traditionally used by merchants trading between India and Tibet. It was damaged over the years after it fell into disuse following the Indo-China war in 1962.) Back to Harshil. Day 4: Morning Yoga practice. Back to Uttarkashi Water sports activities.Visit to Kaashi Vishwanath Temple (This temple in Uttarkashi is considered to be part of the Char Dham Yatra due to its popularity, which pilgrims visit Gangotri Dham, it certainly does the Darshan of Lord Shiva in this famous temple of Uttarkashi. It is believed that this temple was built by Parashurama. Later, Sudarshan’s wife, Maharani Khanti, rebuilt it in 1857.)
Day 5: Morning Yoga practice Rafting and river crossing. Village walk. Introduction to the lifestyle of villagers and their work fields.
Day 6: Morning Yoga practice. Transfer to Dehradun.

RETREAT SCHEDULE FOR DODITAL/ DARWA PASS TREK (5N/6D)
Day 1: Transfer from Dehradun. Welcome and evening meditation
Day 2: Morning Yoga practice. Trek to Dodital Evening talk and bonfire night.
Day 3: Early morning temple pooja and yoga practice and site visits and trek to darwa top (Dodital is a freshwater lake in uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, India, situated at a height of 3,657 metres. The Assi Ganga river emerges from Dodital and joins Bhagirathi at the confluence in Gangori, near Uttarkashi. The lake is named after sage Dodi who had mediated there. The lake is home to freshwater trout.)
Day 4: Morning Yoga practice. and day activities with talks and fun activities.
Day 5: Morning Yoga practice.
